Il 'problema' è questo (l'ho messo tra virgolette xè è giusto una seccatura ma sono curioso di conoscere bene il xè e il per come del mio sistema gentoo):
Nelle mie console quando attivo CapsLock (come da manuale) tutte le lettere ke digito dalla tastiera diventano magicamente maiuscole....tranne una: la 'e' , ke mi costringere nonostante l'apposito tasto a tenere premuto 'shift',
e guarda caso quando tento di digitare la ''(qua mi funziona, sono su un altro pc [win]) premendo 'Alt Gr+e' mi compare una 'n' soprassegnata da una tilde ('~').
Qualcuno mi sa dire xè questo, ma soprattutto come risolvere il suddetto 'problema'?
Vi posto x maggior kiarezza i files 'consolefont' e 'keymaps':

Se su IWndows la stessa tastiera fa questi brutti scherzi ma fa pensare che sia rotta o hai qualche tastiera veramente particolare...

| nono,su windows funziona è sulle console di linux ke da problemi,anzi kernel78 mi dice ke ha anke lui qta situazione ma quando usa X tutto funziona perfettamente |

Già basta cercare 'locale' o qualcosa di simile: è un how-to quindi si può anke trovare nella sezione relativa.
L'altro ke invece ha risolto il mio problema vero e proprio è un tipo ke ha scritto 'ESSERE o non eSSeRe'... non mi ricordo ma penso ke basti per la ricerca...quindi RISOLTO!(mi racc leggete fino in fondo)

confermo!! ho anch'io il problema e nn ho l'ho ancora risolto dato che la macchina è fresca di pochi giorni...
cmq escludo che sia io che lui abbiamo le tastiere entrambe rotte per quanto riguarda la (e E) sarebbe una coincidenza troppo grande... |

il problema (ancora non risolto, stranamente, da Gentoo) riguarda la keymap italiana e le ultime versioni di baselayout...
La soluzione è quella di modificare la keymap italiana come descritto nel topic segnalatovi da cotlog.. ma leggete fino in fondo.
