Gamepad support on ES1371

Hi,

I am trying to get an old gamepad working with an es1371 soundcard. I have been following the instructions according to the joystick howto on the gentoo wiki, but I just cannot /dev/input/js0 to appear. I am using udev.

The /var/log/messages comes up with this:
Aug 25 22:17:26 dan gameport: ES137x is pci0000:00:09.0/gameport0, io 0x200, speed 903kHz

So it seems to be detecting it, but I do not think UDEV is doing anything about it.

Any ideas?
