Help!
After a new install with gentoo 2005.1 I have the following problem:
users cannot enter / !. If I try thry this for example with konqueror I get this message:
| Code: | | Unable to enter file:///. You do not have access rights to this location. |
The same happens with mc and krusader
Because of this error I cannot start krusader as normal user.
Root can enter /
I checked
- fstab: it is the same as my in old install it works without problems
- kernel config : same
- grub and grub config
What is wrong with my system?

Try this as root: That should give everyone read permissions to /.
