I was up till 3:00 thursday night trying to get this 79 minute cd to burn but k3b kept complaining that it couldn't get permissions to something or other and to use something-something-raw mode. After the first couple hours i figured it was because the cd was 700 megs and the wav files, although they were only 79 minutes and it claimed to be an 80 minute cd, were actually something like 740 megs. But after not bieng able to decide what to cut out and taking the last 5 seconds off of each trak with audacity I coula swarn on my life that I was able to burn 770 meg cds with nero... So, I burned the data files zipped onto a cd, booted into windows, downloaded nero (burn for free gave me the same type of error) and set up the audio cd in nero and burned th 740 79 minute audio cd successfully, went back to check the size of the cd and sure enough there was 740 megs of audio tracks on a 700 megabyte cd. Whats going on here and how do I tell linux to do whatever the heck nero did? |

1: Maybe you want to turn OverBurning on? (it's in K3B settings)
2: Maybe you want to use... Nero for Linux? |
