Ce nouveau mode du nouveau kernel permet de faire un arret complet du clavier ET de certain processus, n'est ce pas merveilleux ???
Non mais j'arrive pas à le faire aller, quand je passe en mode conservative, il y a une zolie erreur (en mode console, quand je suis pas dans le x) qui parle de thread, des modules liés, de la pile etc... En gros, ca marche pas du tout...
Avez vous ce problème ???????? Moi qui espérais bien avoir un portable qui chauffe moins que le mode ondemand, c'est ratté...

Bizarre que le mode ondemand marche te pas le conservative...
LE fonctionnement est quasiement identique, sauf que en conservative, la montée en fréquence est progressive alors qu'en ondemand, ça monte au max, puis redescend progressivement.
Mais c'est vraiment pas grand chose la diff, dixit les docs du kernel...

governor both in its source code and its purpose, the difference is
its optimisation for better suitability in a battery powered
environment. The frequency is gracefully increased and decreased
rather than jumping to 100% when speed is required. |

Bah, si ca marche pas, ferais un tit format de mon nunux (ki est po trop génial la, avec tout les test que j'ai fais)...
Mais préfère quand meme garder tel quel... il fonctionne bien, juste conservative qui conserve rien du tout !

Bon sinon c'est plutot interessant, cependant avec mon Celeron M... Je verrais plus tard avec mon futur portable Pentium M double core et tout et tout |
