Allora...
Per una serie di motivi(trasparenze in hardware) ho bisogno di usare i driver DRI per la mia scheda radeon mobility 9200.
Attualmente sto usando il kernel 2.6.11.2 con un paio di patch...
Ho eliminato i driver proprietari e settato nel kernel il supporto per DRI,ora ho caricato i moduli

e settato xorg.conf per usare i driver radeon.
Se lancio glxinfo una riga dice:

direct rendering: No
|
se lancio glxgears mi fa 315 fps.
Qualcuno saprebbe dirmi come si fa ad abilitare il direct rendering con i driver dri?
Ho sentito in giro che bisogna aggiornare i driver dri...ma come si fa?
Qualcuno mi da qualche dritta?

First of all, sorry for no posting in Italian 
You have two options, install ATI propietary drivers, I mean the drivers distributed by ATI, or be patient and wait to http://r300.sourceforge.net project to be finished  (the last option is the use of the open drivers).

Scusate mi ero dimenticato di questo 3d.
La cosa che sbagliavo all'epoca è che mi dimenticavo di caricare il modulo per(il chipset) la scheda madre.
Nel mio caso "intel-agp".
