I've been trying to install LIDS with Gentoo. When I reboot into my LIDS enabled kernel I see the kernel load up with no errors until I get to the startup scripts, then I get something like:
Code: | Mounting /proc ... oops
Unable to mount
access denied
|
At this point I am able to login to the root partition in read only mode. Has anyone else dealt with this?
Thanks,
meekrob |

I am actually installing lids on gentoo with firewall. I haven't got similar problems. It could be due to wrong configuration. When you installing LIDS, you have to use new "clean" kernel from kernel.org without other patches applied. You can applied them after lids patch.
Good Luck
