I am trying to do a system upgrade and I stalled out on lm sensors 2.9.1. I get the message:

* Determining the location of the kernel source code
* Found kernel source directory:
* /usr/src/linux
* Found sources for kernel version:
* 2.6.13-rc6-mm1
*
* lm_sensors-2.9.1 requires CONFIG_I2C_SENSOR to be enabled for non-2.4.x kernels.
*

Searching the forum indicates that the solution used to fix this issue is to compile all parts of i2c and hardware monitoring support of the kernel as modules and then it will build. I have done this and I am still getting this message.

Hi.

Looks like your kernel don't have that in the config.
If I do
Code:
cat /usr/src/linux/.config |grep CONFIG_I2C

I get
Quote:

Thanks, I see. I guess I will unmerge lm_sensors for now to complete the upgrade and tackle the situation later.
