I have a RAR archive divided into 5 rar files. The archive contains several hundred small files. File number 3 is corrupt. Winrar and unrar does not want to extract half of file nr3, nr4 and nr5.
There is a tool called "Advanced RAR Repair" for windows that probably can fix my archive. But it costs money. Is there a free alternative? |

| After looking around. I found the "r" option for rar. It is some kind of repair. But it seems to take ages to do. It's been running on my machine for one hour. CPU is 100% and so far the progress is 14%. I will wait and see... |

| well you're lucky if you get some positive results... never in my life i have successfully repaired a rar file, be it in windows or linux... |
