After installing 2005.0 I had successfully added adsl-start to boot, PCMCIA supposingly started it, according to Gentoo Handbook. After upgrading to 2005.1, including all other software and profile update it doesn't work now, PCMCIA is on default level too. I don't see that ....Connected label anymore. I also have DHCP. I can supply you with required info files ). Many, many thanks Gentoo Community!

add it to you default runlevel

Code:
rc-update add adsl-start default

you can check if its in boot/default already by issuing

Code:
rc-status default

and

Code:
rc-status boot

It's not on the list, therefore you shouldn't add it? Or you can add commands to the list too?

Please give me a link to a place where you've learned it kel.

How can I add it? rc-update add adsl-start default doesn't obviously work. Do I have to write my own init script?
