Hi,
I primarily use 72Hz VertRefresh in Windows, but whenever I try to get it to work in Gentoo, it will say no ModeLines available. It works fine at 75Hz, though the text is blurry, but that is because I don't think the monitor is supposed to do 75Hz. It works fine at 60Hz also. This is an LCD.

Thanks.

LC-Displays are supposed to run with 60 Hz. Although they usually support up to 75Hz. But this does not change anything. It's a physical problem. Going higher than 60Hz. Does not help anything...

Hth.

Cheers, R.

Okay, thank you very much.

EDIT: Actually I have one more question. At 60Hz in Xorg the screen is in a different position than the screen at 60Hz using gensplash (Only thing different as far as I can see is the HSync 64.1KHz as opposed to 64.0KHz). Is there a way to solve this?

EDIT 2: Fixed with xvidtune and custom modeline.
