I doubled the buffer but I'm still getting xruns (not as many as before)
this is with jack @ 32bit 96khz -n 2 -p 2048
this is in realtime mode with the realtime-lsm module installed and the enhanced real time clock and alsa rtc stuff on.

I've seen that others here have this card and was wondering if anyone could share the settings that work for them or just tell me what I'm doing wrong. is an xrun callback the same as an xrun?

there are loads of things you can tweak that affect xruns in jack... here are a few off the top of my head:
- get jack to use /dev/shm for it's fifos. if it isn't already doing so, that will get rid of most of the xruns.
- use dma on hard disks
- make sure your sound card is on a higher priority irq than your graphics card
- make sure your kernel is patched with the low latency patch and has preemption (it sounds like you are using a 2.4 kernel. if you are using a 2.6 kernel you should not be using the realtime-lsm module)
i get less xruns with the 2.6 kernel than i did with a patched 2.4 kernel. i'm glad i switched - it was getting to be tedious to patch the kernel every time i wanted to change kernel versions

why that? i use rt-lsm on 2.6 without any probs, by just emerging it before i reboot in a new kernel. otherwhise i wouldn't be able to start jackd in realtime as user (and pam rtlimits is horrible to configure)
