I got a radeon 7500 which should be by default 3d supported by xorg, but whenever I try to play a game that requires 3d
I get the message "3d hardware support not available.." and its kinda frustrating. What do i need to do to turn 3d on?? _________________ "I once thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken" |

DRM needs to be enabled in the kernel;
device drivers =>character devices=>Direct Rendering Manager.
You then should have a radeon kernel module.
modprobe radeon to load.
You should set your device to radeon in xorg.conf.
