i installed it but gnome-panel and its applets are crashing a lot. Then i tried taking a screenshot, another crash... urg
does it work for you? |

Yeah, my panel is crashing a lot too on 2.12 rc 1. I am trying to find a solution. |

No crashes here. Updating to GNOME 2.12.0 final as they are made available (about 50% out so far), but have been running the latest packages of GNOME since they have been released. No crashes. If you suffer from those, make sure every dependency of GNOME is the latest version. Dont run half and half as you will see problems, but its rock solid and fast as hell for me.
Other than the trash not working, things look great.
*EDIT: Trash and drive display fixed in latest Gnome-vfs. 2.12.0 is broken so expect a 2.12.1 rather quickly. _________________ You're not afraid of the dark are you? |
