I have installed gentoo 2.0.4 use the universal installation CD use the stage 3. on my SUN Balde 100.
But eveytime when i boot my system, the error appears:
modprobe: Can't locate module dm-mod
Engine: unable to open the control node for Device-Mapper, The Engine will run without Device-Mapper support.
error calling:"unlink" in "GLOBAL"
error calling:"unlink" in "GLOBAL"
error calling:"unlink" in "GLOBAL"
error calling:"unlink" in "GLOBAL"
error calling:"unlink" in "GLOBAL"
error calling:"unlink" in "GLOBAL"
It seems i haven't install the dm-mod, is it a serious problem.
why this appears?
is it because i miss some options in the process to build the kernel?
and can i just use some files to build this module?
i can bear to build this system again
anybody could help me?
thanks...
