Difference between P4 Xeon and EM64T? Both socket 604?

I have a Supermicro Superserver 6013A-T server case that has a motherboard in it that is for socket 604 Xeons. But I am finding it hard to find any non-64-bit Xeons. From reading through the manual, it doesn't seem that the motherboard was made for the EM64T processor because it doesn't mention that processor. My question is that if I buy an EM64T processor, will it work on this motherboard since they have the same socket?
