I have NO idea how to get this HP NetRAID-4 to see my HDDs

Before I install Gentoo, I gotta prep the six hard drives I have in my NetServer. It's an LC2000r.

Tried to use Knoppix to boot up and download/install the CLI tool, but that doesn't see my controller, even after using modprobe aacraid (though it loads)...

I don't know who much suport anyone around here can give you with Knoppix. Did you try the Gentoo Live CD? Try that. Also, try "gentoo doscsi" as a boot option. Good luck.

Meh, I gave up and used my last license of Win2003SBS. Oh well, wanted to check it out anyway.
