I have a Dell Latitude D600 with a built-in bluetooth adapter. I've got bluetooth modules, bluetooth service, kbluetoothd all installed. They all start properly (as far as I know, I get no error messages anyway) but they all claim I don't have a bluetooth adapter. Is there a way to tell if the hardware has packed up or the software is not detecting it? I have had it working in the past...

unplug all usb devices and then run (as root)
if something shows up, then its working. _________________ Dont make it idiot proof, make it work.

Didn't realise it was a usb device. I needed to modprobe hci_usb, it seems. |
