Hey all, excuse me for writing this in English but i am visiting my family in France from the 10th to the 27th and I was wondering if any french Gentoo users would like to meet up?

The nearest town is Brive-la-Gaillarde between Limoges and Toulouse (although my family live near Terrasson) so if anyone wants to meet in Bar la Civette for a drink then i'm sure i can make it. You'll have to understand that my french is quite poor and i may have to speak english some of the time).

Anyway leave a message here if anyone wants to meet up and i'll do what i can :D

be careful... My mother is a chef in France and she learned everything from England. I agree with you that traditional english food is bad but the food in restaurants in england is probably the best in the world.

Anyway, if we have bad food you have Jonny Halliday    "Que j'taime.........."

but seriously, Johnny Halliday is terrible, now Edith Piaf is good. Vanessa Paradis is somewhere inbetween

Ew, cokehabit, you silly brit.
Don't come and tell us what's good and bad about our culture.
Don't mind me.
I'm just jealous 'cause you live closer to France than I do.. :)
Enjoy your time :)

If you go to Paris, give us an other invitation : good place for rugby ("Stade Français" :)) and a lot of "small clubs", and a lot of good rugby pubs :)

oh, the Great Cokehabit from OTW coming to France! Nice! Sorry but it's also to far from home for me!
Anyway, you could also stop by Grenoble, it is a good place for rugby... er no, it isn't anymore... so i guess we won't meet !

Vdemeester : ça me manque, Annecy. C'était cool comme ville. D'ailleurs j'y vais peut-être demain...

Damn  I was really hoping that there would be a few gentooers in Brive or maybe Sarlat or Perigueux. What i'll do is sometime in the future i'll hop on the Eurostar and i'll come to paris, we can stop by by favourite cafe at the bottom of Montmartre and have an aperitif (eau de vie poire pour que personnes?).

Hey, a cokehabit !

I lived in Bordeaux 2 years and a half ago, and would have been not so far, but now I live a little bit ... far ... (Québec)

But I agree with the others: the best way to see some french gentooers is to go to Paris :P
