Is DMA set for this CDrom drive?
Check with hdparm
Where X is the corresponding device (a, b, c or d)
If DMA is off, try to set it:
Code: | # hdparm -d1 /dev/hdX |
And then try is writting is faster..
And post some output if this does notsolve your problem..
Please bear in mind that some writable media cannot be used in higher speeds. It could be just a bad bunch of DVD's _________________ All things considerring! I'm considerring to...never mind! |
