Just take any window manager you like and make a theme for it?
How to do that, check the documentation of the window manager. |

You would have to know which part of the desktop environment that does what. For instance, I'm running gnome with kdesktop instead of nautilus to draw the backgound. (I really like being able to scroll my way through desktops, besides I like superkaramba.) Anyway, just read up on which programs does what in a particular environment, find out which environment you like the better and use that as your basic de. Then kill off the processes you don't like and start up new ones from other environments.
Hope this made sense
Edit: Small typo. |
