hallo! ich hab seit einiger zeit massive probleme mit meinem samba server... d.h. er will einfach nicht mehr starten. das ganze hat angefangen, als ich auf version 3.0.14 geupdatet habe. vorher funktionierte alles ohne probleme! meine configs habe ich nicht verändert...

Warum wird eigentlich immer nur die Fehlermeldung gepostet aber vorher nie gelesen  
Schöner kann die Fehlermeldung doch gar nicht sein...

Entweder existiert das File nicht (mehr) oder aber die Permissions sind falsch gesetzt. Korrigier das mal.

| ja, das problem ist nur, dass ich die datei wirklich nicht habe, aber genauso wenig wie cups oder das cups useflag... das ist ja gerade das komische! |

Axso, du moechtest also _kein_ printing?

nein, das ändert nix!
ja, ich möchte wirklich kein printing! ich hab halt auch kein cups (gehabt -- habs emerged um zu gucken obs dann geht...) und von einem tag auf den anderen ging samba nicht mehr! ich habs schon mehrmals emerged und unemerged mit und ohne cups useflag, aber der fehler bleibt immer der selbe! |
