Is it possible to save games with fceultra, or any other nes emulators in portage? I'm playing legendary star wars and hate when I always have to start from the beginning when I die. |

yeah, the readme covers saving.
use the number keys to select a slot then use f5 to save and f7 to load.
in zsnes, f2 saves, f3 chooses slot, and f4 loads, or some pattern very similar to that.
another common scheme is the 'snes9x' style used by visualboyadvance and others is function key loads slot, shift+function key saves. |

sure thing. i completely understand what you mean about the saving. nes games tend to be like 3-4 hours so repetition upon death became the standard way to artifically extend play time. maybe that was fine 15 years ago when i was in elementary school, but now real life only permits a few hours a week to play games without feeling like a waste of space so it's good to get right to the meat of it. |
