i have a hawking hwu54g wireless usb card. while running dhcpcd -d wlan0, i see the following.

i turned off all encryption on the router (real smart), and still can't get an address from this thing. the router is a belkin router. here's some more info:

any help is most appreciated. i have another laptop with builtin wi-fi that connects to the router and gets ip just fine with or without encryption. |
