|
|
Hello all,
I'm trying to install an atheros based pcmcia card.
I've read http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_PCMCIA_NIC and https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=26716
however in those docs is not explained how to get the 'ds' module
I already have my cardbus PCI82092 modprobed with i82092
pcmcia-cs is emerged (several times)
the kernel is compiled with make clean bzImage modules modules_install
and I did
Code: |
env-update
source /etc/profiles
ldconfig
update-modules force |
Reading this doc seems ds comes with pcmcia-cs but qpkg -l pcmcia-cs |grep ds doesn't shows it nor I find it in /lib/modules
current kernel is 2.6.11-r8
please help I'm stuck since several hours and this problem is driving me mad (and not mad driver)
thanks in advance _________________ "Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning." - Rich Cook |
