I am thinking of a min-itx computer. All I need is music (amarok) office (openoffice) dvds (xine) and internet (firefox)

Looking for a computer that is energy eficent and small

is a mini-itx computer a good choice? How good is the linux support?

I am all so thinking of a mac mini but the linux support is not that good.

Would a laptop be a better choice?

what do you think?

works like any other computer

$300 for a barebones motherboard, case, and PSU (add a processor, ram, hard drive, optical drive)

try http://www.newegg.com or google around

You probably want a socket 939
