mysql start problem

/etc/init.d/mysql start

* Can't find service 'logger' needed by 'pg_autovacuum'; continuing... [ ok ]
* Starting mysqld (/etc/mysql/my.cnf) ... [ ok ]

what is this. How i can fix that?

Just a guess, but did you emerge newsyslog, syslog-ng or any other logger?
