I've been experiencing very strange behavior with the Ximian plugin for Evolution. At first I got everything working, the emails, contacts, and tasks would update properly. Now, for some unexplainable reason, the contacts and tasks are not updating anymore. Any ideas would could be wrong?
This is one of those frustrating things with Linux. I enjoy using Gentoo, but it seems like nothing ever seems to work the right way.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Even any past experience or problems. _________________ "What goes on in life, that goes for eternity." |

I think I've gained some further insights. The connection is working properly, but the updating doesn't occur while Evolution is running. In other words, if I close Evolution, and start it up again, it will have all the updated information. However, if I keep Evolution running, only the mail will update and the tasks and contacts will stay the same.
Any ideas on why it's not updating properly while Evolution is running? _________________ "What goes on in life, that goes for eternity." |
