Hi all,
I just wanna let x11 listen on 6000 tcp port while running kde 3.4.1. So I modified /usr/bin/startx and rmove ="-nolisten tcp" from it.
Then I found that If I don't start the system with kdm (That means I start kde manually), everything is fine. But if I use kdm as my display session manager, x11 won't listen on 6000 tcp port.
How can I do? |

In /usr/kde/3.4/share/config/kdm/kdmrc look for the ServerArgsLocal line and comment it, restart kdm and that should do the trick. (Also options in this file about accepting Xdmcp requests if you're looking to use that too.) |
