| esiste un qualche software che mi permette di fare quello che faceva winxp, che mi mostrava le foto in sequenza, perchè quando devo guardare le foto ogni volta mi tocca aprire 200 sessioni di eog, e ho un po' di rallentamento... |

ma scusa... perché non usi l'anteprima integrata di nautilus? |

Non ho trovato dove scrive di usare gnome...
Io utilizzo gthumb, la versione in portage massima e' la 2.6.5 ma l'ebuild in portage di permette con piccolo assestamento di emergere la 2.6.7 che e' l'ultima e funziona un po' meglio.

hai ragione, ma non ha nemmeno scritto di NON usarlo, e dato che eog fa parte dell'installazione standard di GNOME mi sono preso la libertà di supporre che usi GNOME.
se non è così ho fatto un'ipotesi sbagliata. pazienza 
ad ogni modo nautilus lo si può usare anche fuori GNOME, non è pesantissimo, permette di sfogliare le directory e ha quella funzione che lui cercava. credo sia la soluzione migliore... |

se come browser usi konqueror, anche questo permette la preview di imaagini video ed audio...
ma non si capisce in questo contesto se si usa un DE o un semplice WM. comunque lo consiglio ache io nautilus, è davvero veloce e pieno di features interessanti...

Io uso gqview e mi piace molto. Mi spiace solamente che non abbia le gif animate, ma mantenga solo il primo frame... e' l'unico difetto che ho trovato in questo programma (o bhe, e mi sono capitati anche un paio di crash ma nulla di piu)
