Suddelny, printing with cups does not work.
I get
Code: | lp: unable to print file: client-error-bad-request |
when I try to print a file from Adobe Acrobat. It has worked before.
If I use pdf2ps and then print the postscript file the printer starts blinking, but nothing happens.
Any ideas on how to crack this problem?
The printer is found by lsusb.
/usr/sbin/lsusb

I suspect that it might be a problem with the size of the file that is to be printed. I have 16 MB of memory, and one of the 300 kb pdf files are converted to 14 MB postscript. This might be a problem. |

I noticed that if I remove the postscript options
Code: | optimize for speed
download asian fonts
save printer memory
|
from the print dialog in acrobat reader it prints ok.
It seems to work now. |

I'd guess it's the file too. However, there was a similar thread here where they suggest unmerging and re-emerging foomatic, gimp-print and ghostscript.
EDIT: Oh I see you got it working. I've had problems with Acrobat too, I always print PDFs from the CLI now. _________________ The free market gave me gonorrhea. |

I'd love to print from the CLI, but I like the scaling feature in acrobat. Some "unreadable" files needs magnification. You haven't got a solution for that? |
