[gnome-gdm]Please help!gnome no booting!

hello everybody,

I've installed a wifi card on my laptop,and after emerging some wireless tools(wpa_supplicant(and by dependencies an update to bash and qt)) I restart my computer and gnome don't boot anymore,it stucked after typing my user and pass.So I launch a root session with failsafe terminal,and I do etc-update and it update 42 config files (I type -3 when it asks me what to do) and now when I boot my laptop I have the old login manager(not gdm),the login manager of X I think,the same than when you 've not yet installed gnome or anything,after that I've logged in root and launch GDM,there I log with my usual login and alleluiah gnome started,but I can't launch nautylus and I'm afraid of rebooting!
What Can I do please?

My configuration:

athlonxp 2200,512ram,card wifi belkin with broadcom chipset,gnome 2.8,gentoo 2005.0.

PS:I add a script for my wifi and fortunelly it works good .But I don't think it's linked to my trouble.

I have emerged nautilus,it emerges gnome 2.10 and i've reconfigured rc.conf,it's ok now,I've just loose my menu...
