I setup qmail courier-imap vmailmgr and squirrelmail
before i added any virtual domains i could log in fine with username
added virtual domain and edited teh imap files so it uses the proper password checker and vmailmgr for auth i can log in fine with a virtual domain as username@virtualdomain.com
but now i cant login with my origional domain either as username or username@origionaldomain.com
i thought i saw a post similar to this before but i couldnt find it any one have any ideas? |

ok i think i have figured out the problem just no solution yet
when going through this setup you need to change the qmail check password to the vmailmgr one and yuo need to change the password auth in courier-imap
that makes it so no local users can authenticate since its trying to auth using the virtual domains only
here is what i have tried
im trying to create a virtual domain that was the origional domain and i added users to it
i can then login with squirrelmail and send mail just fine now the problem comes when recieving mail if i send mail to virtualdomain.tld where virtualdomain.tld is the same as origionaldomain.tld the mail gets deliverd to the local users instead of to the virtual domain users. any one have any idea how to fix that? |

set the AUTHMODULES to "authvmailmgr authdaemon"
then both work |
