Ok, so I've been an x86 user all my life and just now bought an iBook. I say x86 user because I have used Linux as well as winbloz. I've had my iBook a week and a half and I already love it. My only problem is my old Sony Clie SJ-22 won't sync without missing sync, and I really can't afford to shell out the extra cash for it (college student trying to make ends meet without having time for a job). I was wondering how hard it would be to make ebuilds and such for J-Pilot or another syncing program. I really loved J-Pilot's interface on my Gentoo-box so much that on ocassion I would be playing a game in Win and need to backup my Clie so I'd go through the trouble of rebooting into Gentoo. I know Fink has it, but I love Gentoo. 
So basically what I'm saying is, anyone able to put it in or able to explain everything I would need to do to get it running?
All help is much appreciated. |

| j-pilot is in Fink CVS. It will probably work for you. |
