My experience on using portage has been with very little success. Out of all the things I have tried I think only gnupg emerged, but things like Haskell, Darcs, unison, synergy, did not. How much are people using it? Does it really work? |

Well at least, port and fink have been able to install stuff I guess, I should file some bug reports. Gentoo portage is similar to darwin ports, but I too would prefer to use portage. |
