hi, I'm trying get to work battery monitoring on my Acer Aspire 5024 laptop so I patch my kernel with ACPI patch but it does nothing.
Kernel is succesfully patched but there is no new ACPI options in General Setup and I still can't monitor battery. I tried this patch on 2.6.12 and 2.6.13 (on this kernel even poweroff doesn't work, patched or not) kernels. I have AMD 64-bit processor. _________________ http://amarok.org.pl | http://koffice.org.pl | http://kde.org.pl |

Do you have a timer problem too? Have a look at bugzilla.kernel.org BUG#3927. |

Did you ever try to have a look at your DSDT? I have an AMD64/ATI-IXP laptop and it has 25 errors and 3 warnings at recompile. Currently working on this. I think your problem starts there.
Take a look at this URL :
