|
|
Hi
Im trying to get gentoo isntalled on my new inspiron 6000. At the emerge gentoo-sources part, I get a failed md5 verification on /usr/portage/distfiles/linux-2.6.12.tar.bz2. So that means the file is corrupt...but how can that be, I got all the way to this stage and the kernel source is corrupt?
Does that make sense, anyone else encounter this?

Delete the file and emerge again. |

Hi.
If deleting the file from /usr/portage/distfiles is not enough, you should do an emerge --sync, delete the file and try again to emerge. _________________ Jorge.
