Hi,
I've just finished installing enlightenment-17 and I must say it is very beautiful.. But I have two questions for you:

1) How can I import the KDE menus in the enlightenment menu?

2) When I choose KDE in the Entrance login manager, after the login KDE is not started but the old X window manager (I do not know the name) is started instead.. Where I should go to correct the problem?

1) look here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/e17genmenu

2) dono I use qingy :P
but maybe you have to look into the KDE file of /etc/X11/Sessions/KDE?

Hope that helps!

1) Thank you for your help ^_^

2) I think that the KDE file /etc/X11/Sessions/kde-* is not the problem, since the KDE session is started correctly when I use kdm as window manafer..

Ok, with e17genmenu I've added the Kde apps to Enlightenment..
Then, with
Code:

ecore_config entrance_config.cfg set /entrance/session/2/session str /etc/X11/Sessions/kde-3.4

I was able to start kde with entrance..

Mmmh.. I switched back to KDE because e17 crashed too often... I do not remember crashes when clicking items in the menu... I remember a lot of crashes when adding animated backgrounds or changing theme.. I hope it will become more and more stable in the near future..

I'm still using e16 (looks like it is much more stable at the moment) but I wanted to try out entrance as my display manager and I can't load anything. It starts up all nice into the login screen, but when I enter my username and password I get a black screen when I login to enlightenment, and a grayish screen for anything else. What gives?
