Mi idea con este post es que los usuarios de gentoo tengamos una referencia de qué "demonios" deberíamos tener corriendo en nuestro sistema (de forma general) y en que runlevel deberían encontrarse. Yo por ejemplo ahora mismo en mi portátil los tengo así:

Generalmente el sistema me funciona bien, aunque muy de vez en cuando (quizá una de cada 10 veces que inicio el sistema) me pasa algo muy raro: tras inciar el sistema y entrar en las X, gkrellm2 me muestra la temperatura de la placa base, la del disco duro y la del procesador (Athlon XP 2600+) detectada por el sensor de la placa bajo el socket, pero no es capaz de detectar el sensor interno del propio procesador Athlon XP.
La gracia está en que, tras cerrar gkrellm2 y descargar y volver a cargar el módulo w83l785ts:

Tras ejecutar de nuevo gkrellm2 las cosas han vuelto a la normalidad, indicando de nuevo las 4 temperaturas.
Los módulos que hay cargados, que puedan estar relacionados con el tema, son: i2c_core, i2c_sensor, asb100, w83l785ts, i2c_nforce2. ¿Alguna idea?

Pues lo de poner el xdm en el boot en mi caso fue simplemente para probar si colocándolo en el boot era capaz de iniciarse mientras se iniciaba el resto del sistema, pero aunque está en el boot me tarda lo mismo en iniciar las X :-s
Y el alsasound en el default es simplemente porque lo puse ahí y ahí lo dejé jjejejje
A ver si alguien nos echa una mano. |

Si te da igual tenerlo en boot que en default mejor ponerlo en default. Te acordarás cuando te pase algo con las X no tengas la posibilidad de no iniciarlas. Si lo tienes en default con poner en grub la linea softlevel=single no se te inician.
Por cierto, nadie tiene un script que se llama dotnet. Yo me acuerdo que existía, pero no lo tengo. ¿No existe alguna posibilidad de hacer lo que hacía ese script que era que los ensamblados de .NET se ejecutaran como aplicaciones normales (haciendo "./aplicación.exe" en vez de "mono aplicación.exe")? |

Para tenerlo basta con emerge mono o pnet. De todas formas no te haría falta emergerlos si sólo quieres el script, te basta con descargar el source

y extraer el script. |

Tengo instalado mono pero el script no está, he descargado pnet y tampoco está ahí está el script.
Si alguien lo tiene lo podría copiar y pegar, se lo agradecería. |

Volviendo a lo de los demonios, he vuelto ha poner xdm en el boot ya que si quiero desactivarlo al arranque basta con que pase al kernel la opción y haciendo una pequeña modificación puedo hacer que se cargue más rápido. Primero voy a explicar el porqué daba igual ponerlo en el runlevel boot o en el default, esto es debido a que cuando se inicia el script xdm hace | Code: | | /sbin/telinit a &>/dev/null |
cuya función es esperar a que se cargue todo el sistema antes de ejecutar /etc/X11/startDM.sh, así que si quiereis que las X se carguen antes lo que debéis hacer es editar el fichero /etc/init.d/xdm y comentar esa línea y añadir debajo | Code: | | /etc/X11/startDM.sh |
si queréis obligar a que espere a algún otro demonio lo único que tenéis que hacer es añadirlo en depend() |
