to me?
okay so the new 1.4 is out and I still don't have my version fully configured yet! lol
But aside from portage getting hammered for the next week, what does it mean for me? I just boarded the train on the last release so I'm still wet behind the ears..... Do I download the cd and "upgrade" my system? or can I just emerge world and get the same effect?
Are they keeping KDE 3.0 or has it been dumped in favor of 3.1? |

| Yup, just emerge -u world and you'll get the same thing. The version numbering really just refers mainly to the versions of base toolset (gcc glibc binutils) and the version of the installation cd. |

| Is that always true? so there is never a win 95/98/2000 etc is just the most recent Gentoo, you mean I'll never have to go through that install guide again! woo-ha |
