Just installed Gentoo on my new computer and Control-L will not clear the console screen giving me only a neat promt at the top of the screen. I know it's very minor but not having it is aesthetically quite irritating.
Any ideas?

If you are using a DE, then go the control panel/center and edit the keyboard shortcuts. _________________ Registered Linux User #387568
