i would like to ask for a volunteer or two to verify this bug:

the test is extremely simple and will only take 30 seconds. it requires that you have x11-base/xorg-x11 6.8.2-r4 installed (stable version) as that is the version i need to test. please set LC_ALL to a utf8 locale and then start plain, vanilla X (no other desktop, just X). | Code: | export LC_ALL=en_US.utf8
startx |
then check to see if your titlebars are huge, as in this snapshot:

if they are, please set your LC_ALL back to "C", restart X and see if the titlebars go back to normal, as in this snapshot:
http://home.comcast.net/~phibby/desktop2.png

scouse could you please paste the output from: emerge -pv xorg-x11
just wanna see your use flags. tia. |
