Hi.
How can I remove help lines from the bottom of the screen in grub? Or graphically adjust the table with OS. I can only change background, but what about the other elements?

You'll need to make your own grub splash image then tell grub to use it. topic 49036 will tell you how. :)

i've already known how to set splash.xpm.gz image, but under the table with operating systems, there is a looong help guide for using grub(special keys etc.)....

do you want how to change this? i'd like to remove help guide..

The closest thing i know of is to hide the menu, like what Fedora does by default.

If you hide the menu, only the boot image will appear as well as a text saying "Starting Gentoo in 5 seconds..." or similar. It will load the default OS configuration after the timeout set in grub.conf, unless the user presses a key to interrupt Grub.
To hide the menu, put the following option on its own line in grub.conf, probably before all the OS configurations:

:) i don't want to hide menu with systems. but the help guide under it :)

The help guide is a non-optional part of the menu :)
