Oh boy I think the enividable has happened. I had everything working fine except sound. Using the alsa guide in gentoo handbook I followed directions for genkernel seeing that I used genkernel on install. upon reboot at the dual boot splash screen I get this error message " loading gentooEBDA is big; kernel setup stack overlaps lilo second stage"
Is there anyway to fix this or am I looking at a complete reinstall?????? _________________ My Mom didnt raise a quitter!

Thank you so much. Already fixed the problem and now my sound is also working...... read thru the dupilcate post. It was beleive it or not as simple as rebooting live CD mounting & Chroot at command prompt lilo hit enter and everything is good again... _________________ My Mom didnt raise a quitter! |
