hello, i have a litle problem with my soud chipset who is a crystal CS4237B. my notebook is under the 2.6 lastest gentoo kernel and ALSA doesn't see my chipset. I tried by using the alsa-driver and by using the kernel configuration, it still doesn't work so if you know a solution please tell me. |

Of course, you read the Gentoo ALSA documentation ?
And make sure you read about the ALSA Permission problem.
If that does not help. Try to state your problem as precise as possible. At which step "does it not work". |

the problem is that ALSA says: no sound card found
it is a detection problem. |
