i would like to use the beta version of openoffice.

i unmasked it, it installed. (the binaries offcourse (1.9.130))
but when i type
Code:
oodraw2
for example in xterm,
i get this:
Quote:
Can't exec "/opt/OpenOffice.org/program/soffice": No such file or directory at /usr/bin/oodraw2 line 150.

When i use the gnome application menu, nothing happens.

The file isn't there. But slocate finds it anyway (find doesn't).

Can somebody tell me what i am doing wrong?

The link is wrong. It should point to /usr/bin/ooffice2 not to /opt/OpenOffice/program/soffice. As far as I remember this is the location of the src build.
If you run
Code:
updatedb
as root, slocate will not find the file either....
