Voila depuis peu ma gentoo ne vois plus rien ni disque dur externe ni mon graveur externe , je ne comprend , impossible de les mounts ( ils ne sont pas dans sda1 ou sdb1 ) voila mon lsmod :

Ils sont bizarres tes messages, t'as mis une option de debug ou un truc comme ca ?
Comment tu as configuré l'usb dans ton kernel ? (fais un grep -i usb /usr/src/linux/.config | grep -v "#" )

Oui changement de kernel mais avec le meme .config mais jau aussi bidouillé hal donc je sais pas trop dou sa vient

Pas vraiment d'idees. Juste 2-3 pistes:

- Est ce que tu as besoin de toutes ces options: DEBUG, GADGET (t'as lu la doc pour savoir ce que c'était ?), NET2280 ... ? A ta place, je reprendrai la config du kernel pour virer les trucs inutiles. Et tu peux tout mettre en dur sans problème, plutot qu'en modules. Utilise lspci pour savoir ce dont tu as besoin, entre UHCI, OHCI, EHCI ... Juste pour info, sur ma machine j'ai ca:

Faut que t'adaptes.

- je suppose que tu es en udev. Le fait que tu aies bidouille Hal ne devrait rien changer (au pire, tes partitions ne sont plus montees correctement), mais les devices devraient etre crees. Tu n'aurais pas oublie de faire un etc-update ? T'as essayé de re-installer udev ?

- qu'est ce qui se passe si tu branches ton DD une fois que le pc est allumé ? (en faisant un tail -f var/log/messages ) ?

- t'as fait un tour sur bugzilla pour savoir si entre ta version de kernel et d'udev y'avait pas de problemes ?

Jai une bonne nouvelle et une mauvaise nouvelle :

La bonne c'est que javais oublié etc-update et que maintenant lusb refonctionne !
La movaise c'est que jai plus le net(resau) mon resolv.conf et mon etc/confd/net a pas changé non plus ( je recois juste le net par mon server qui est sous mdk ) je comprend pas dou vient le probleme :/

Le ifconfig mindique je recois et envoi aucun paquet :/

Amha, TU as écrasé tes fichiers de config avec etc-update ... :roll:

Fais une recherche sur le forum sur ce sujet mais il va te falloir refaire ta conf (édition des fichiers incriminés) j'en ai bien peur ...
