|
|
I recently had to reinstall gentoo on my laptop due to a fried hard drive. One of the programs I was using previously with no problem was Webcomics-Collector... but now when I try and run it I get:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/collector", line 24, in ?
import Collector
File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/Collector.py", line 9, in ?
import gdbm
ImportError: No module named gdbm
every single time... I have checked their website, tried installing PHP, Smarty and reinstalling gdm to no avail. Has anyone else dealt with this problem and know how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Have you got python installed with the gdbm USE flag? _________________ No-one's more important than the earthworm. |

just tried adding the gdbm flag to my make.conf and doing an emerge DuNptv world... it remerged php and a couple of other files but I still get the same error when I try and run collector... I don't believe I had the gdbm flag before though when it was working... thanks for the attempt though |
