i emerged nvidia kernel and edit xorg.conf as u suggested.. but the error is same. though point2play is working after i replaced "/usr/lib/transgaming_point2play/setup_wizard_gui.py" with one provided by transgaming.

hmm...

you could try deleting every single accelrator driver and use X in standard, then compile nvidia-glx and nvidia-kernel ?
because it looks like it just isn't installed right..

anyone else got any ideas?

I agree with AliasXZ. I don't think your nvidia drivers are installed right. I also believe that there is an ebuild for nvidia-glx. Have you tried emerging that? Just wondering.
