Can anyone confirm for me that AOL runs through WINE? Right now AOL is complaining because the AOL executable can't find the DLL's needed to run the program. I can simply copy the DLL's that AOL needs into the AOL directory so the executable won't have a problem finding them.
However before I do that I want to ensure that I am not wasting my time. Are there any confirmed reports of AOL running through WINE? |

I cannot answer your question about aol and wine, yet if you jsut want to use your aol account and not all the fancy bells and whistles(garbage in my book) u can use penggy to connect to aols servers. just emerge penggy |

Actually, my main goal in using AOL is to use the AOL chatrooms. I use IRC, however I'm fond of the AOL chatrooms. That is why I ask. |
